  • Is a mortgage valuation a survey?
A mortgage valuation is not a survey. It is used by mortgage lenders to decide whether a property is suitable security for lending purposes. In many cases, lenders are no longer disclosing the reports. The report does not address any questions that may be important to you and does not report on the condition of the property. A survey is prepared specifically for you and provides independent professional advice on the condition of the property, defects and helpful and constructive advice.
  • Can I contact my surveyor if I have questions?
We can arrange for the surveyor to contact you, before and after the survey. Alternatively you may forward any questions to us and we will ensure that the surveyor responds via your choice of communication.
